Sooo much fun!
The weekend after Cam's birthday Dave's buddy Nai from high school came to hang with us and BBQ! He brought his son Kian, who is the biggest sweety. The boys adored him. We got out Cam's new slip n slide. And, not to mention we ate a lot of good food!! It was a fun weekend.
His new skateboard!!!!!!! Mmmmm cake! Notice I didn't have 6 candles so we used a 1 and a 5!
Doesn't he look happy!!!
That is Cam and Dominic!!! Super cool. Daddy and Colty!

Testing out the new board.
More water fun.

Well I can hardly believe he is 6 already. We decided this year we weren't going to do big parties, just go some where fun as a family. Our best friend Sam and her son Dominic came to celebrate with us. It was so nice having them here. We went to the Hands on Museum. The kids loved it. He said thank you to me about 4 times for the best birthday. It melted my heart. He also said he is so lucky for all that he has. What a good kid he is. Happy Birthday Cameron!!! We are so proud of you and love you so much!!!!!
Seeing how I am horrible about sending pictures to people I decided I would make a blog for those who live far away. We are a family of seven and we live in Washington. We love the seasons and our beautiful surroundings, even if it means we also have to deal with the rain. We are completely focused on our family and love watching our children grow. We have learned to enjoy the moment and to not take life for granted. So sit back and take a look at what life is like on the Durbin Express.
Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential.--Barack Obama
