On Wednesday we took a trip to the Hunter's farm pumpkin patch. It's the same one we have gone to every year. The weather was nice and clear that day so we really enjoyed ourselves. We fed the goats. It tickles when they eat out of your hands. Dave kept saying we should have one as a pet........nice try Dave. Dave took the boys through the hay maze and then the boys went down the big slide. After that we picked our pumpkins from the patch . It is so nice to create traditions as a family.

Cameron's kindergarten went to the pumpkin patch this week. Dave went with the class and had a great time. No siblings were aloud to go so I offered to stay home with the little ones. It's nice to have their Daddy do those things too. Here are some pictures that Dave took of their pumpkin adventure.

Our little Kai is not so little. He's quite high on the charts and it shows. He is 24 inches and 14 lbs. The size of a 4 month old. It is hard to believe that someone so cute can get even cuter every day. He likes to talk to the animals on his mobile. He giggles and smiles and is just a sweet baby. There is no shortage of love for him that's for sure. Cameron and Colten are doing good too. Cameron is reading and doing great in kindergarten. Colten has got his letters down and really wants to read like Cameron too!! He wants to do everything like his big brother. We love our boys so much!!!!!

Has it really been a month already? It's crazy how fast the days are coming and going lately. Kai had his one month check up today. He is growing like crazy!! 11lbs. 130z. and 23 inches!! He's at the top of the charts needless to say and filling out wonderfully. He is so strong and is really starting to notice the world. We had a party on Saturday celebrating his arrival. Our dear friend Sam came up and hosted it. We all had a great time. There were so many kids it was crazy! I just feel blessed to have such good people in our lives and a wonderful little family.

On Wednesday Cameron had his first day of kindergarten. He was so excited! His teacher, Mr. Nye, is really cool and seems to be a good fit for Cameron so far. I am so glad we waited a year. Cameron has grown so much and it shows. He told Dave that "kindergarten is so awesome Dad". We are so proud of him!!!

It is crazy how fast time is flying and that summer is coming to an end. My Mom and Dad left today. We had a great time with them. The boys were completely spoiled and loved every minute of it. They definitely deserved it. Kai is just getting bigger and bigger every day! Last Friday he had his 2 week check up and was up to 9lbs. 7oz and was 22 1/2 inches. I must produce miracle grow in my milk!! He is doing wonderful. The boys can't get enough of him and neither can we!!!

Our newest edition has arrived and we couldn't be happier or feel more blessed! Kai David Durbin arrived on 8-13-09 at 10:02 pm. He was 7lbs 13.9 oz and 20 inches long. He got a little banged up on his way out but has healed wonderfully. The boys adore him. They love to have a baby around. Colten is so excited to get his turn at being a big brother. Kai is so lucky to have them and can't wait to meet his other wonderful brother Hayden. We are so amazed every time we witness this miracle of life and are so grateful for a safe delivery and health for us all.
